CSH Illinois Releases Communty Planning Grants from Across the State.
Since October of 2008, 14 communities have been meeting to discuss the needs of their local communties for reentry housing and services as part of the Reentry Planning Grant Initiative funded by the Corporation for Supportive Housing as part of the Illinois Returning Home Initiative. When Metropolis 2020 convened the Statewide Collaborative on Reentry, these communities assembled their most current recomendations for housing and programming. These reports were released September 30, 2009. Links to the Reports are below as well as a map of the communites in the reports. A PowerPoint Presentation was also released summarizing the findings across reports.
